Skyline College Women’s Wrestling Earns 3rd Place Finish at Palomar College Comet Clash
The Skyline College women's wrestling team delivered an outstanding performance at the Palomar College Comet Clash, earning two gold medals and one silver medal to secure a 3rd place team finish.
Leading the way for the Trojans were Saphire Altamirano and Jax Saeed, who each captured 1st place in their respective weight classes, showcasing dominance and skill throughout the tournament. Lynelle Legados also had a strong showing, battling her way to a 2nd place finish and contributing valuable points to the team's overall success.
The Trojans demonstrated grit, determination, and continued growth as a program, competing fiercely against top competition. Their performance at the Comet Clash highlights the team's momentum as they prepare for the upcoming State Championships.
"With each competition, this group continues to improve and compete with confidence," said Head Coach Olga Camacho. "We are excited to build on this success as we head into the State Championships."
