Bio
Ryan Angell serves as the Director of Coaching at Dublin United FC and brings over 15 years of experience in player and coach development. He holds a U.S. Soccer National B License, USSF Club Technical Leadership Level 1 certification, and is a U.S. Soccer A License candidate.
Ryan earned his M.S. in Coaching & Exercise Science from Concordia University Irvine, where he also played collegiately and helped lead his team to an NAIA National Final. He has coached at multiple levels—including Santa Clara University, JASA RWC, Red Star Academy, and La Famiglia Futsal—and has competed at the professional futsal and semi-professional outdoor levels with the U.S. Men’s National Futsal Team, Major League Futsal, and UPSL sides.
A Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and EXOS Performance Specialist (XPS), Ryan is known for his player-centered approach emphasizing technical, tactical, and physical growth. He lives in Redwood City, California with his wife and two children.
