Skyline started slowly in Friday night's game vs district rival College of San Mateo falling behind 15-8 after the first quarter. Skyline picked up their offense in the second quarter, closing San Mateo's lead to just two points at halftime. Skyline took control of the game in the third quarter outscoring San Mateo 20-12 before stretching the lead in the fourth quarter and eventually earning a 68-53 victory. Nia Rogers led all scorers with 18 points, while Niesha Ramirez and Desiree Perez added 17 and 13 respectively. Imaya Anderson and Niesha Ramirez pulled down 8 rebounds each in the victory. Skyline travels to San Jose City College Wednesday for a Coast Conference Crossover game at 5pm.
