Skyline Starts 2026 with a Win
Skyline started the new year and finished the preseason with a win over College of the Redwoods. Skyline and Redwoods battled back and forth throughout the first quarter, with Skyline clinging to a 14-12 lead. The second quarter witnessed Skyline stretch their lead to as many as 12 points and went into halftime with a 10-point lead. Redwoods threatened Skyline's lead in the third quarter, but Skyline answered each Redwoods' run with a run of their own. Skyline controlled the fourth quarter and finished the game with a 70-57 victory. Niesha Ramirez led Skyline with 17 points, while Zara Pratt added 14 and Imaya Anderson chipped in with 12. Skyline begins Coast Conference play this week ranked #12 in Northern California.
