Skyline Picks up Two Wins, Improves to 3-0

Skyline swept Sacramento City College and College of the SIskiyous to improve to 3-0 on the season.
Skyline opened the week with a road game on Wednesday at Sacramento City College. Using matching 17 point efforts from Nia Rogers and Niesha Ramirez, Skyline fought through a back and forth contest before emerging victorious. Skyline shot nearly 50% for 3pt range to stave off Sacramento City and eventually pull ahead for a 68-58 victory.
Skyline hosted College of the Siskiyous Friday night and jumped on the visitors taking a 9 point lead after the first quarter and stretching their lead to 12 points at halftime. Skyline withstood a big third quarter from Siskiyous before pulling away in the fourth quarter for a 77-70 victory. Skyline had three players in double figures: Nia Rogers (27), Niesha Ramirez (14), and Imaya Anderson (10). Desiree Perez tallied 7 assists to lead Skyline, while Ramirez grabbed a team high 11 rebounds.
Skyline returns to action when they host Modesto on Tuesday, November 11 at 5:30pm.
