Skyline Places Four on the All-Conference Team
Conference coaches voted four Skyline players onto all-conference teams at the recent postseason meeting. Malia Latu earned a 1st Team All Coast Conference selection after she led the conference in scoring as a freshman and lead the state of California in total points scored. Latu was also unanimously voted 1st Team All-State for her standout season. She has committed to play next season at the University of San Francisco
Freshmen Lala Lautaimi and Tati Newsome were both voted 1st Team All Coast Conference by Coast North Coaches. Lautaimi was the 2nd leading scorer in the conference this season. Newsome earned high marks for her outstanding defense and all-around game. Both players look to make an impact in the California State Playoffs.
Sophomore Nicole Brunicardi was selected 2nd Team All Coast Conference after a season where she averaged nearly a double-double in points and rebounds. Hampered by an early season injury, Brunicardi missed nearly the entire preseason. She has come on strong as of late with back to back outstanding games to finish the regular season.
