Bio
Kyle Wong returns to the Skyline program as an assistant coach in 2021-22. As a player at Skyline, Kyle completed one of the most successful and efficient seasons in Skyline history. Kyle led the league in scoring, while shooting 52% from the field and 85% from the free throw line. He also set the All-Time record for 3FG% in a single-season at Skyline- knocking down 52.2%.
Following his stellar season at Skyline, Kyle signed a full scholarship to continue his career at Cal Baptist, one of the premier DII programs in the country. At CBU Kyle started 28 games and made an appearance in the NCAA Tournament. He continued his playing career professionally overseas in both China and the Dominican Republic, before relocating back to the Bay Area. Kyle previously served as an assistant on the Skyline staff in 2014-15. The Trojans finished that season ranked #9 in NorCal.
Kyle’s tremendous work ethic and determination were on display every day in the Skyline program and for the entire world to see in 10,000 hours (Epidsode 1).
Kyle prepped at Mills High School in Millbrae, CA. As a senior he was named San Mateo County Player of the Year and MVP of the Peninsula Athletic League.
