Sean Richardson named top Men's Basketball Student-Athlete in Northern California
Sean Richardson was recently named the top men's basketball student-athlete in Northern California by the California Community College Men's Basketball Coaches Association. Sean, out of Burlingame High School, graduated Summa Cum Laude with a 3.9 gpa. He signed an athletic scholarship to continue his athletic and academic career with University of Saint Francis for the 2024-25 season.
This is the fifth straight season a Skyline player was recognized for this award, making state history. Previous winners were: Julius Alcantara (Serra High School), Colby Vazquez (Mills High School), Noah Haynesworth (Tamalpais High School), and Jacob Salinero (Half Moon Bay High School). Julius is entering his senior season at Menlo College. Colby earned his bachelor's degree at Jamestown University. Noah earned his bachelor's degree from UC Davis. Jacob earned his master's of Business Administration from Sonoma State University.
