Trojans finish season ranked #12 in NorCal
Skyline finished the 2023-24 season ranked #12 in Northern California. After picking up 19 wins, and playing in the top-rated league in the state, the Trojans season came to an end on the road in the state tournament to an eventual state final four team.
It was a speical season for Skyline. Fielding a team of all local players, the Trojans recorded 9 victories over state tournament teams, did not lose a single game all season to a non-playoff team, secured the 3rd highest power ranking in the top-rated league in the state (see below), and won more game than any team in the country (at any level) without a dunk.
For the 4th team in the past 7 seasons, Skyline ranked top 10 in the state in 3FG%. The Trojans also set a number of All-Time records.
The season also included academic success. Nine of the team's ten players were named to the Dean's List. Sophomore captain Sean Richardson was named the top men's basketball student-athlete in Northern California. That's the 5th straight season a Skyline player has earned that distinction.
