Bio

Jake Pashby enters his fifth season as the catching coach for the Skyline College baseball program.  In addition to coaching the catchers, Coach Pashby acts as the 3rd base coach and participates heavily in recruiting for the Trojans.  In his tenure with the Trojans, Coach Pashby has also spent time as the 1st base coach.

In his four seasons with the Trojans, Coach Pashby has developed some of the best catchers in the state of California.  Each season has seen a Trojan catcher earn Coast Conference North 1st Team All-Conference honors. Jeremy Keller (2022), Ethan Bergan (2023 2024), and Vinhson Nguyen (2025) were all named to the all-conference team over the past four seasons.

During the summer of 2022, Pashby joined the Duluth Huskies of the Northwoods Collegiate Baseball League as a SACH (Scouting, Analytics, Coaching, Hybrid) intern, transforming their analysis team.   In the 2023 summer, Coach Pashby was promoted and made his debut as hitting coach and 3rd base coach for the Huskies. 

Jake Pashby is a native of Daly City, California and a class of 2018 graduate of Archbishop Riordan High School. After graduating high school, Pashby spent his freshman year attending De Anza College in Cupertino, California before transferring to Skyline College for two years. Pashby played for the Trojans his second year before joining the coaching staff.
