Hourigan Commits to be a Hornet
The Skyline College baseball program and Head Coach Tony Brunicardi are proud to announce that freshman pitcher Conor Hourigan has committed to play for the Sacramento State Hornets next season.
An Aragon High School product, Conor has become the leader of the Trojan pitching staff in 2022, which is ranked number one in California. Over 10 starts and 57.2 innings, Conor has posted 2.18 ERA, while holding a 7-2 record. Additionally, Conor has only allowed 42 hits and 15 walks (1.00 WHIP), while striking out 55 batters (8.58 K/9).
"I am extremely proud of Conor and the work he has put in to develop and earn this amazing opportunity" said Head Coach Tony Brunicardi. "His numbers speak for themselves, but the Hornets are getting a tough and competitive young man who gives everything he has everyday. He is our leader on the mound and in the clubhouse. Coach Christiansen and his amazing program are getting a great arm and an outstanding young man".
