Barnes Commits to UC Davis
The Skyline College baseball program and Head Coach Tony Brunicardi are proud to announce that freshman pitcher Rowen Barnes has committed to play for the UC Davis Aggies next season.
A true freshman from Menlo-Atherton High School, Rowen has been dominant in his first season with the Trojans. Posting a 1.90 ERA across 9 starts and 52 innings pitched, Rowen holds a 5-2 record. Additionally, Rowen has only allowed 51 total baserunners (.980 WHIP) while striking out 45 batters (7.79 K/9).
"UC Davis is not only getting a great pitcher but an outstanding young man," said Brunicardi. "While Rowen has been dominant for us, I think his best baseball is still ahead of him. With his high ceiling and work ethic I am excited to watch Rowen continue his development at a great Division I program like UC Davis."
