Sophomore left-hander Steven Dalton, out of Terra Nova High School in Pacifica, earns Player of the Week honors after a pair of standout performances against key conference opponents.

Dalton was dominant in his start against district rival Canada College on March 20, tossing 8.0 innings while allowing just three hits and no earned runs. He struck out eight and kept Canada off balance all afternoon, leading the Trojans to a 14-3 victory.

He followed that up with another strong outing against division rival College of San Mateo on March 27, going 6.0 innings with seven strikeouts. Dalton battled through traffic and limited damage, helping secure a 7-4 win and another important conference result.

On the season, Dalton has been a workhorse at the top of the rotation, posting a 7-1 record with a 2.49 ERA across 47 innings. He has struck out 59 batters while holding opponents in check with a 1.11 WHIP.
